Gail Sussman
Group Managing Director - Public Finance at Moody's Investors Service
Introduction by David Frank, CFA
Presenter Background Information:
Ms. Sussman is the Group Managing Director for Public Finance at Moody's Investors Service. In that role, she is responsible for all aspects of analytics, research, and business in the public finance sectors, including state and local governments, health care, housing, higher education, and municipal structured products. Ms. Sussman has been with Moody's for over 25 years and has had extensive experience with various short term products in the municipal market, including variable rate demand bonds, commercial paper and tender option bonds, and also has a rich background in the housing business. Before Moody's, Ms. Sussman worked for the New York State Housing Finance Agency and the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development in New York developing low and moderate income housing.
