Ben Bernanke, Former Chairman, Board of Governors, Federal Reserve System
Martin Wolf, Chief Economics Commentator and Associate Editor, Financial Times

Program Description: Ben Bernanke led the Federal Reserve during the single worst financial crisis since the Great Depression. Working with two US presidents and two Treasury secretaries, Bernanke took decisive action-from slashing interest rates to launching an unprecedented bond-buying stimulus-that was praised by the American public as often as it was criticized. What are the key lessons drawn from the financial crisis that are most relevant for today's global economy? Join Ben Bernanke in conversation with the Financial Times' Martin Wolf as he pulls back the curtain on the Federal Reserve, the financial crisis, and its aftermath. Signed copies of Ben Bernanke's forthcoming book The Courage to Act: A Memoir of a Crisis and its Aftermath will be available for purchase from the Book Cellar after the program.
