Program Description:
Would you like to learn creative techniques to think more quickly on your feet during networking or client events? Are you looking for new ways to establish yourself as a leader in your community? E. Diehl Speaker Bio:
Empirical evidence has shown that improvisational training has the ability to improve an employee's trust, teamwork, communication, presentation skills, creative problem solving, and can improve a company's overall corporate culture. No one knows that better than Erin Diehl, a former experiential marketing and recruiting professional as well as a veteran improviser from the top improvisational training programs in Chicago including The Second City, i.O. Theater and The Annoyance Theatre.

Diehl's company, improve it!, conducts workshops across the country leveraging improvisational techniques to improve employees' soft skills in corporate settings. Her work with clients such as United Airlines, PepsiCo, Groupon, Deloitte, The PrivateBank and the Illinois CPA Society earned her the 2014 Chicago RedEye Big Idea Award and has nominated her for the 2015 & 2016 Chicago Innovations award. Diehl was a speaker for Disrupt HR Chicago, hosted the 2016 RedEye Big Idea Awards and will be a speaker for HRMAC Chicago, WISE Chicago, the Business Marketing Association and Emerging Leaders of the Chicagoland Chamber of Commerce in 2017. Diehl is a graduate of Clemson University.

She will be sharing her thoughts on how to effectively communicate by using the methodologies of improvisation. If guests fail to cancel before the deadline and/or fail to attend the event they will be charged a $20 fee.
