Program Description:
This program is designed to move beyond LinkedIn’s basic functions to help users utilize all of the site’s features. For job seekers, this could include things such as making connections with offline & second-degree connections, content creation, using groups, and premium tools. For employers, this would likely focus on efficiently screening the right candidates. For recruiters, this would focus on using LinkedIn’s robust search functions to find the ideal candidates for placement.

Please bring your laptop to make the session interactive. We suggest updating your profile prior to attending this workshop. If you would like for the speaker to discuss a certain topic or answer a specific question, please include it in the comment box at the bottom of the registration page.

Speaker Bios:

Kim Stapleton founded The Network Effect LLC in 2014 after nine years of sales at Grant Thornton. Stapleton now works with a bank, a law firm, an accounting firm and The Illinois Chamber of Commerce to help them expand their client base. Often times, she brings C-level executives to events and introduces them to professionals that serve others in their same industry.  She assists her clients with their continuous pursuit of developing new business. Often times she performs the necessary but time consuming tasks of researching and networking.  Stapleton is also involved in numerous community initiatives and nonprofit boards.

Credit card is required to guarantee ALL reservations. Day-of-event registrations accepted on-site only if applicable and space available. There is a $5 surcharge for walk-ins. Visa, MasterCard, American Express, Discover and Diners Club are accepted. Cancellations accepted until 5:00 pm,  November 14th. If guests fail to cancel before the deadline and/or fail to attend the event they will be charged a $20 fee.

Passport Program
Members of any CFA society may attend at the CFA Society Chicago member rate. If you are only a member of CFA Institute, you do not qualify for the Society member rate.
