Program Description:
Do you frequently wish you had answers to how to effectively negotiate in your workplace and in everyday life? Join us for a high energy interactive negotiating primer and go home with:

  • Insights into how different negotiation styles can work to your advantage

    • Negotiation tactics men could teach women? (and vice versa)

  • Key ideas on how to effectively evaluate and respond to a job offer

  • Tactics for negotiating compensation

  • Tips for communicating your value proposition?

This is the second event of a four part series Taking it to the Next Level: Empowering Tools for Women in Finance. The series of events is intended to support career development and the advancement of women in the investment management profession.  Please join us after the event for an informal networking reception!

Laurel Bellows, founding principal of The Bellows Law Group, P.C. is past president of the nearly 400,000 member American Bar Association, past president of The Chicago Bar Association and past president of the International Women’s Forum Chicago and The Chicago Network. Bellows is highly regarded for her many contributions to the Chicago and international community.Bellows is an arbitrator and certified mediator and is licensed to practice in Illinois, Florida and California.

Members of any CFA society may attend at the CFA Society Chicago member rate. If you are only a member of CFA Institute, you do not qualify for the Society member rate.
