Chris Vincent, CFA, joined CFA Society Chicago as chief executive officer in May of 2020. Prior to joining the society full time, he was a fixed income portfolio manager in Chicago with two firms, William Blair and Zurich Scudder. He was head of fixed income and a partner at William Blair Investment Management (2002-2020) where he managed bond mutual funds and separate accounts. He held similar roles at Zurich Scudder (the successor firm to Kemper Financial) from 1988 until 2002. He began his professional investing career in the Treasury Department at Ralston Purina (now Nestle Purina) working on defined benefit and defined contribution plans.

Chris was a senior volunteer for both CFA Society Chicago (Board Director and Officer including Chair) and CFA Institute (Annual Conference Advisory Group).

Chris has served as a Board Director and officer for a variety of non-profit organizations over the past three decades. Currently he is a member of the Board at the University Club of Chicago.

Chris earned his CFA charter in 1990, received his undergraduate degree in finance from the University of Missouri, and holds an M.B.A. from Saint Louis University.

Suzanne Karpick joined CFA Society Chicago as managing director, finance and administration in July 2024. She spent her early career in commercial real estate marketing within the real estate lending group at Bank of Boston (precursor to Bank of America) in Boston, MA, and at the National Association of Real Estate Investment Trusts (NAREIT) in Washington, DC, from 1987 through 2001. After completing her MBA in 2006, Suzanne shifted her focus to the buy side with a focus on REITs and real estate stocks.  She launched the in-house investor relations function at The Macerich Company (NYSE: MAC) in Los Angeles, CA, and subsequently ran investor relations for Duff & Phelps Investment Management Co in Chicago, IL.  Suzanne also launched the in-house investor relations team at ECHO Global Logistics (NASD: ECHO) in Chicago, IL.  She joins the Society from JP Morgan Chase where she served on the Finance and Business Management team of the Commercial Bank.   

Suzanne completed her ESG Certification through CFA UK in 2020, received her undergraduate degree in finance from Boston College and holds an M.B.A. from Northwestern University’s Kellogg School of Management.

Alyssa Bronge joined CFA Society Chicago in June 2024. She earned dual Bachelor of Business Administration degrees in Marketing and Information Systems from Loyola University Chicago in 2024, and completed her Master of Business Administration at Loyola in 2025. She is focused on implementing strategic marketing initiatives that drive member interaction, leveraging targeted campaigns to reach key audiences, and developing high-impact digital materials that elevate the Society’s brand and visibility across platforms.
